ICA has been very blessed to be able to offer many learning opportunities for our students. ICA collaborates and utilizes programs throughout the county. We have many volunteers that pour into our students on a weekly or monthly basis. ICA students enjoy weekly music classes with Mrs. Joy Fairchild, monthly art classes with Ms. Charity McQuitty, science lab for older students with Ms. Harmon. We are so thankful for each person that helps to enrich the lives of our students.
This year, ICA petitioned our student body to get involved in three distinct ministry projects designed to impact our community for Christ as well as to engage students.... And students and parents answered the call! In the months of September and October, we gathered food to benefit The House of Blessings’ annual Thanksgiving dinner. In November and December, we collected cozy socks and personal care items to distribute to the residents of our local care homes. In January and February, we raised over $500 plus baby care items for our local Pregnancy Center. The students, teachers, and recipients of these items received so many blessings from these projects, and we hope to continue with them next year. Thank you for your willing and sacrificial involvement. You have truly been the hands and feet of Jesus!
